Research & Development Executive

Responsibilities

  • To seek suitable raw materials and packaging materials for product development
  • To conduct periodic product analysis, sensory evaluation, shelf line test & optimization study when needed
  • To update documents such as specification in accordance to food standard
  • To arrange and conduct production trial run at factory
  • To participate in creating, launching/ implementing new products
  • To improve existing product formula & processes
  • To participate in bench marketing and testing competitive produces to gain relevant information
  • To perform as hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/ Technology/ Nutrition/ Dietetics or equivalent with minimum 2 – 4 years working experience in R&D of food industry, preferably with product development knowledge
  • Able to work independently, passion and creative towards product development
  • Able to communicate effectively and possess basic computer knowledge
