Tomato Rice VHalia
Ingredient list A:
- 2 ½ cup of rice
- 3 cups of water
- ½ cup of evaporated milk
- 3 tablespoons of tomato puree
- 3 teaspoon of VHalia
- 2 pandan leaf
- Salt (for taste)
Ingredient list B:
- 1 staranise
- 2 cloves
- 3 cardamom
- 1 cinnamon stick, 5cm in length
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 inch of ginger (slice thinly)
Method:
- In a wok, heat up the oil with medium heat fire
- Using a mortar and pestle, pound the ingredients in ingredient list B.
- Put the pounded ingredients in the wok, and cook for 2 minutes, and mix
- Lower the fire, and add rice. Cook for 1-2 minutes
- Add water, evaporated milk, tomato puree, VHalia, pandan leaf (crushed), and salt
- Put everything in a rice cooker and cook until rice is ready.
